Very compact! I've tested a few of these and here's what I look for. This too seems to be another Pocketlink type device though I'm not sure and there is no way to tell before buying.

Delay of signal / Color reproduction. These are good on this device, there isn't much of a delay, so if you are doing a demo of an interface but watching through the link, you won't feel a disconnect.

Frames Per Second. Usually this isn't a huge thing and it's not here, but it doesn't actually give you 60 FPS, it will connect to the display at 60hz but only send 30 frames per second. Some might notice gaps of where the mouse is. Playing other things (besides video games) you'll probably not notice.

Compression. All of these in this category (there are other's for video production but they're several times the price) will recompress your video. All of these so far have used only 20Mhz width 5Ghz wireless channels. There is only so much bandwidth. It's good but if there are scenes with items that usually don't compress well, it will show up. Again, this is not common.

The Type C TX device takes power from the host but it does have a passthrough port for power only. Do not that it'll block other nearby ports.

Its good, but just expect some funky quality I plugged this into my 52 inch Vizio for input and my HP Laptop for out. The latency is not bad at all pretty fast but the quality came in kinda funk, weird blue tones all over the screen. I dealt with it considering the ease of use. Its always plugged to my TV and whenever I want to use it with my laptop its just easy to plug right in. Game changer if you can deal with the quality.

Easy hookup! works great! Super-easy to setup! plugged into TV, Plugged into Phone, and it's showing! Can't ask for more! No trouble watching Yutube etc. Very compact, it'll be great to take on trips - just gotta remember to take the tv end with you when you leave! (I'll probably attach a long lanyard to it so it can be seen) I took a picture of the TV screen with my phone projecting, LOL came out pretty cool,

Amazing. It works very well. This Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver works perfectly. I have been needing something like this to use for presentations. Although my pictures are just showing generic pictures, I actually use this for presenting land in Google Earth, 3D Models and more for my business. My office computers don't have the functionality or data that my personal laptop does, and casting my screen to the conference room TV doesn't work, I was searching for a solution. This device is amazing. I just plug it into my USB C port on my laptop, plug the receiver into the HDMI port and USB A port for power, push the button on the transmitter on my laptop and it projects perfectly with zero lag. Absolutely amazing. Thank you thank you. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Clear picture and easy setup, reports 60hz refresh, but actually appears to run lower with mouse lag I've been interested in one of the wireless HDMI adapters that doesn't require a wifi connection for a long time, so I was thrilled to try this one out. It's pretty cleverly seamless - you plug the HDMI into your monitor, the USB-A end into a power source (the monitor itself or a hub works fine), and the USB-C transmitter into a laptop, tablet, phone or other suitable device. Note the host device *must* support video on the USB-C port; this works by taking a video signal sent from the host through the transmitter to the receiver on the screen and does not act as a USB video card. When tested with an A-C adapter on a standard A port on my business laptop, it didn't produce any signal. It's very easy to set up as it uses native system drivers, no extra downloads required. If your device has only one USB-C port (like a phone), the transmitter has a USB-C port on it for power pass-through.

As another reviewer mentioned, there's an additional limitation. While a laptop will show - and independent tests verify - the screen connected to the receiver running at 60Hz, this adapter DOES NOT send 60 frames per second. Instead, it seems to send about 30, and there's notable mouse movement lag as a result. It doesn't really affect things like web browsing or even video watching, but it is noticeable. It's an unfortunate limitation that keeps this from a 5* rating. There seems to be compression in the data stream, but it didn't significantly reduce the visible picture quality at the native 1080p resolution this supports. Colour reproduction isn't perfect, but it is very good.

Build quality is okay but not really impressive. The HDMI receiver/USB power cable lacks strain relief at either end and is somewhat thin. The USB-C transmitter uses a lower-quality type of plastic and feels somewhat cheap as a result. Price at time of review is just under $70 CAD, so its quite a bit more expensive than a USB-C or HDMI cable, but the wireless functionality without needing wifi (like a Chromecast would) is extremely convenient. It's not a bad value, although I do wish the framerate actually matched the 60hz resolution it detects and utilizes.

Good for Media Casting—Not a Monitor Replacement I haven’t stress-tested this yet, but as of now, it’s a solid 4 stars. The MINIX C1 Plus works well for what it’s meant to do: cast media wirelessly to a larger screen. Setup is simple, the signal is stable, and it gets the job done for in-room use.

Where it falls short—though not unexpectedly—is latency. There’s about a half-second delay, which is most noticeable when moving a mouse. This makes it a poor fit for productivity setups like extended displays or live mirroring for work. But for casual media playback, it works just fine.

If you’re expecting Chromecast- or Fire TV-level polish, you’ll be disappointed. But this product isn’t about slick UX—it’s about functionality over form. And on that front, it delivers.

I’ll update this review if performance drops with more use, but for now, it's a practical solution for media casting from laptops or phones to bigger screens. Just know what you're getting.
